Out at the Rodeo is a Houston-based 501(c)(3) non-profit that creates inclusive spaces within rodeo and country culture for the LGBTQ+ community. What began ten years ago as a small meetup of about 40 people has grown into an annual celebration drawing thousands of attendees, featuring drag performances, live music, and community programming. Their initiatives include their signature March event, which earned an official proclamation from the City of Houston, Wild Wild Wet, our summer pool party, and year-round community events that support LGBTQ+ causes across Houston.
Ennis and Jack are two shepherds who develop a sexual and emotional relationship. Their relationship becomes complicated when both of them get married to their respective girlfriends.
